We’re a registered charity which means that our board of trustees collectively has overall accountability for our work and delivery. Trustees are volunteers and serve a three-year term.

Sadly, we are due to lose some of our trustees whose terms are due to come to an end later this year. We're therefore looking for new trustees to join our Board. This is a unique opportunity to lead, inspire and make a difference within local communities in Gloucestershire.

We're delighted to announce that bookings for our new 'Grants and Fundraising Course' is open for bookings.

This workshop will help equip you with essential tools and strategies needed to secure and manage your fundraising. Places are fully funded for VCSE sector groups & organisations delivering services in Gloucestershire.

The recent surge in racist violence across the country is deeply disturbing and unacceptable. As the Gloucestershire VCS Alliance, we stand united in condemning these acts of hate and intimidation.

We extend our solidarity to all those affected by these horrific events.

People with lines connecting each individual to each other

In September 2023, 40 community and voluntary sector leaders came together at a summit, hosted by Age UK Gloucestershire, to consider the issue of loneliness in the county. Those who attended proposed the setting up of an ‘Ending Loneliness in Gloucestershire’ Alliance as a campaign action group, hosted by Gloucestershire VCS Alliance.

We believe the time is right to launch this movement to promote coordinated action to foster strong connections and reduce the pain of loneliness in Gloucestershire. We're therefore inviting representatives from local VCSE sector groups/organisations, statutory organisations, funders and communities to our launch event on 17 September 2024.

We're also delighted to launch the second in our series of Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) training courses and workshops this Autumn.

It can often be difficult to have a confident conversation about race, different cultures and backgrounds, for fear of getting it wrong. Our Safe Space to Talk Race presentational workshop offers some different thinking, understanding and approaches in tacking this delicate topic. Places are fully funded for VCSE sector groups & organisations delivering services in Gloucestershire.
